Our team have an in-depth understanding of the technical standards for airfield asphalt, and select our partners accordingly. We have strong, long-term relationships with leading materials suppliers, who are able to supply aviation grade asphalt nationally. We also have excellent relationships with a number of leading surfacing sub-contractors, who understand the unique requirements and challenges of delivering within airside environments. As works progress, we use robust quality controls to ensure the required standards are achieved.

Our expertise in managing time-constrained, possession-based works is highly beneficial for asphalt surfacing works, where timing is key. Working closely with our supply chain, we meticulously plan our works to ensure that sufficient time is allowed for all relevant stages – including laying, cooling, compaction, sweeping and FOD clearance. This ensures we are able to hand back assets safely and on time, every single shift.

In addition to our airside experience, we also have delivered a wide variety of asphalt surfacing works in landside environments – such as car parks and satellite roads. Wherever necessary, we are able to provide Traffic Management (TM), to ensure these works are delivered safely, and with minimal disruption to road-users and stakeholders.
