MAG Frameworks
PARTNERSHIP EXCELLENCE
In 2017, Allied Infrastructure Management was awarded a place on the Manchester Airport Group (MAG) Small to Medium Framework. This Framework provided MAG with a procurement route for landside and airside projects at their 3 airports (Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted), for a period of 5+ years.
Over this period, we have delivered a huge range of Principal Contractor projects at Manchester Airport and East Midlands, developing strong relationships and client confidence at both sites.

RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT
The variety and complexity of works awarded has progressively increased over time, as Allied have demonstrated our ability to manage the unique challenges of delivering within a live airport setting. The scope of our projects has included:
-
Reactive repairs - delivered rapidly to enable operational continuity.

-
“Hotspots” works – repair and maintenance works to heavily-trafficked sections of the airfield, ensuring they can be used safely and effectively.
-
Large-scale projects to re-construct or re-surface taxiways.
-
Construction of new concrete fillets.
-
Airfield re-designation works, requiring the re-location of signage and line-markings.
-
Upgrades to electrical infrastructure.
-
Site Investigation (SI) works.
-
Landside works to highways, car parks, and holding areas, often requiring Traffic Management (TM).
SECURING THE NEXT 5 YEARS
In 2024, we were awarded a place as the sole Lot 5 (Planned Renewals & Reactive Maintenance) contractor for Manchester Airport and East Midlands Airport, on the new MAG Airfield Infrastructure Framework. Running for a period of 5 (+3) years, this Framework was established to deliver MAG’s airfield development programme, as the Group continues to invest in its airport infrastructure.

This award reflected MAG’s confidence in our team, following 7 years of successfully delivering complex and time-sensitive works for the client. We look forward to working with MAG to deliver airfield works over the duration of this prestigious Framework.
