OUR EXPERTISE
Allied Infrastructure is hugely experienced in delivering line-marking services within aviation, defence and infrastructure environments. We understand the exacting compliance and safety standards required by our clients, and are able to deliver precise, high-quality and durable line-markings, which are fully compliant with the relevant CAA, ICAO standards and DIO standards. Typical applications include:
-
Runway markings – centre-lines, thresholds, Touch Down Zones (TDZs) and others.
-
Taxiway markings – centre-lines, side-stripes, turn-pads and others.
-
Apron markings.
-
Airside and landside road markings.
We utilise high-performance, aviation-approved materials, which are formulated to withstand heavy trafficking and challenging weather conditions. We also maintain in-house plant and equipment, such as ride-on Graco LineLazer machines which enable significant efficiencies in delivery.
Through our vast experience in airside delivery, we are able to plan and manage these works to ensure safe, timely and high-quality delivery – with minimal disruption to operations. We are also able to draw on our in-house expertise in related disciplines (such as rubber removal and surface preparation), to provide end-to-end solutions for our clients.
In addition to our airside capabilities, we are also able to deliver line-marking in conventional environments – such as car parks, bus stations, highways and ports.
LINE MARKING
East Midlands Airport
In the summer of 2025, Allied Infrastructure completed a significant programme of line-marking works at East Midlands Airport, for our valued client MAG (Airports Group). These works were commissioned by MAG to facilitate revised aircraft movements, as part of the ongoing growth and development of EMA.
The scope of works involved captive blasting to remove the existing lining, followed by the reinstatement of the new stand and taxiway markings, according to the revised configuration. Our team delivered these works in 3 phases (Central West Apron, West Apron, and East Apron) over an 08:00AM-17:00PM shift pattern. We received positive feedback from several stakeholders regarding our phasing and management of the works, which helped ensure minimal disruption to airfield operations.
