OUR EXPERTISE

In recent years, Allied Infrastructure has undertaken a significant number of Site Investigation (SI) projects at Manchester Airport, East Midlands Airport, Gatwick Airport, and numerous other sites. Our recent experience includes:

  • Coring and sampling  of asphalt and concrete pavements. We are able to self-deliver coring works, and have long-term relationships with UKAS-accredited testing laboratories to facilitate technical analysis

  • Topographical surveys

  • Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) surveys

  • CCTV surveys of drainage networks

  • Proving of duct networks

  • Investigation of pit and duct systems, including the production of pit cards

This is a valuable capability for our clients, who are typically seeking to understand the condition of their assets, and develop future schemes. By partnering with leading surveying consultancies, we are able to provide high-quality, versatile SI services. Paragraph break.

In addition to managing the package of works, our team facilitate access for surveying personnel, and ensure they work safely in line with airfield protocols. Following completion of the required SI, we work with our surveying partners to produce robust, high-quality reports, which can be readily utilised for the planning of future works.

  • Survey control traverse works

  • Mechanical and Electrical surveys

  • Pavement coring and sampling

  • Utility surveys

  • Topographical surveys

  • The production of an over-arching Health & Safety (H&S) File, incorporating all of the above data
