Joint sealing is a long-standing, proven technique for maximising the performance and service life of concrete and asphalt pavements. The application of sealant to pavement joints, cracks and chases offers a number of significant benefits. These materials helps to facilitate expansion and contraction, and to improve resistance to water ingress, grit, and chemical contaminants. This ultimately helps to improve the longevity of pavement assets, and reduce long-term maintenance requirements.​
